A Natural Sea Sponge is a superior quality sponge; they are the most appropriate sponges for facial, body, and infant care.
Natural sea sponges are porous solid masses of sea zoophytes. After the necessary process of cleaning, they become very soft and light and are adequate for a variety of everyday uses. People have been diving for and using sea sponges for thousands of years. The ancient Greeks and Egyptians used them for many of the same purposes as we do today.
One of the many benefits of using natural sea sponges for bathing and washing is that they contain enzymes that make them naturally antibacterial and inhibit the growth of bacteria, mildew, and mold. In addition, they are naturally hypo-allergenic and toxin-free.
Our sponges come from the Greek Mediterranean.

Before Use: Soak the sponge in clean water; squeeze out all excess and carefully examine the entire sponge to ensure any particles escaping our multi-level quality control are found and removed.
Proper Use: USE ONLY WHEN WET! Drop a small amount of soap onto a wet sponge or in a bucket and vigorously massage the sponge into a foamy lather. Use on any surface requiring efficient deep cleaning. Do not expose to chlorine bleach or any soap that contains chlorine.
After Each Use: Wash the sponge. Squeeze or shake off access water. Dry anywhere except in dark moist places. Avoid heat. Do not wring.
